Colombia top the group with a fine margin without losing any game. Last match with Brazil disrupted their perfect finish to the group stage. Easily one of the tournament best team so far. Playing some good/brilliant football with a long unbeaten run for a very longtime now.

Brazil started not so good and this is the reason they lag behind Colombia. Having draw to Costa Rica in the opening and emphatically dismantling Paraguay put them in a runners up position out of the group. Brazil will need to do more in every department in the quarters.

Costa Rica surprisingly got a draw against Brazil in the opener and stylishly defeated Paraguay in the last game. Finished with four points but wasn’t enough to progress to the quarter finals but it’s a performance they will be proud of especially the first opener against Brazil.

Paraguay started real strong against Colombia in the opener and drop the bar against Brazil to get rolled over. The last game point towards their direction by dominating the most of the game they still couldn’t scoop a win and that sum up their outing, good team but not clinical enough.

SERBIA WAS NEVER LOOKING LIKE A THREAT FOR MOST PART OF THE MATCH UNTIL THE LATER END WHEN THEY CAME OUT TO SCRAP A WIN BUT IT WAS ALREADY LATE AS AT THAT TIME.
